About Me:

I was born in Guangzhou, China, and was brought up between the southern Chinese metropolis and Hong Kong. I spent three years at a boarding school on the east coast before enrolling at UC Berkeley, studying business and philosophy.

Astronomy and space exploration had been a big part of my childhood, with the launch of the first Chinese astronaut in 2003 still fresh in my mind today. My parents bought me books about the Soviet and American space programs and I remember reading about the absolutely enormous N1 rocket, built by the Soviets for their lunar program, with awe and inspiration.

Today, my love for space remains, and the name of this site - Space Economy Journal - reflects my desire to develop this enthusiasm into something that is more academically rigorous and professionally sustainable moving into the next chapter of my life. I hope to share my thoughts and tinker with different theories on this small corner of the internet.
